In the Indian market, Maruti has none of the features mentioned above in its version of Swift. However Maruti’s Swift is expected to at least grab some of the features from the International market, so that it could compete its rivals such as Hyundai i20, Volkswagen Polo and Nissan Micra which comes loaded with lot of features.

Suzuki Swift is powered with the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. However Suzuki has retuned the diesel engine, now the diesel version of the facelifted Swift would have CO2 emissions reduced from 109g/km to 101g/km and fuel efficiency improved by 7% with the UK version claiming 25.63km/l.
