2013 Renault Fluence unveiled

At the on-going Istanbul Motor Show, Renault showcased the new Fluence facelift with modern styling and state of the art technologies. This new model is being produced from the company Oyak-Renault plant in Bursa, Turkey and sales are expected to commence from early 2013 while it is scheduled for launch in over 55 other countries during the year. Hopefully, the French car maker plans to bring it to India very soon and not delay the launch of this beautiful premium sedan.

The new Fluence will be introduced in a choice of both petrol and diesel engines. Its petrol option will get a powerful and dynamic 1.6-litre of engine producing 115BHP of peak power. Apparently, this engine will be coupled with a CVT automatic transmission taking the drive to a next level. The current diesel engine present in the ongoing model is decent, but the expectation from the new 1.6-litre engine is higher, which would also hike up the pickup and acceleration.

New LED daytime running lights and chrome gloss black inserts are seen on its exterior while internal designs are more enhanced offering a new digital instrument panel, new upholstery and greater comfort. The car can also be equipped with a passive entry system, Bluetooth/USB connectivity and the Renault R-Link infotainment system. Driver aid technologies include remote central locking, front and rear parking sensors and automatic parking brake. Connectivity features include Bluetooth radios equipped with USB and jack sockets.
