French auto manufacturers, Renault has unveiled their new 2013 Renault Fluence sedan at the ongoing Paris Motor Show. This model is recently revealed in Mexico and its already introduced in Korean markets earlier this month where it goes by the name Renault Samsung SM3 sedan.

The Fluence is set to undergo a major change in 2015, but before that the vehicle is given some minor changes to both the exteriors and interiors. The front of the updated Fluence looks very similar to the Koleos crossover with a new restructured front bumper, new grille and revamped headlamps. The facelift continues to the rear where the bootlid is a new item with a sharper edge to make for a sporty finish. The alloy wheels of the car also see a new design to look fresher.

The profile of the car remains similar to the current model given that the 2013 Fluence is more of a facelift than a full model change. On the inside, the car gets a new instrument panel with digital displays.  The new Fluence will be launched in India after the Paris Motor Show as the car maker knows that the festive season car buying is ahead. The time seems to be ripe but it is said that the car maker will wait for a Europe launch and post that it will see the Indian shores.

While the petrol engined Fluence gets a CVT automatic gearbox, the diesel model makes do with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
