2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS

Porsche will unveil the second-generation Cayenne GTS at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, later this month. Based on the Cayenne S, the new GTS gets 20 more horses, a 20 mm lower ride height and a lower final drive ratio for improved driving dynamics.

The 2013 Porsche Cayenne model sits right below the top-end 500-hp Cayenne Turbo and is powered by a 420-hp V8 engine and an active all-wheel-drive system coupled together with an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission with integrated Auto Start Stop function. That allows the 2013 Porsche Cayenne GTS to go from 0 to 100 kph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 260 kph.

Visually, the Cayenne GTS gets a high-gloss black trim, prominent side skirts and wider wheel arches as well as the hood and front fascia from the Cayenne Turbo. It rides on 20-inch RS Spyder wheels. For 2013, two new colors are available for the Cayenne GTS; Peridot Metallic and Carmine Red. Standard on the GTS is a sport exhaust system with matte black twin tailpipes.

On the inside, the Porsche Cayenne GTS gets an 8-way adjustable front sport seats with Alcantara.
