A test mule of 2012 Maruti Ritz was spotted on Delhi-Gurgaon road undergoing real world physical test on the Indian roads. Though the exteriors were heavily disguised with a black tape, our friends at IndianCarsBikes have managed to deliver a rendering image of 2012 Maruti Suzuki Ritz with some significant changes. The front bumper was tweaked and front grille was simultaneously adjusted to accommodate modified bumper. Headlamp was also twisted to give new Ritz an edgier feel.

2012 Maruti Ritz will probably be powered by a 1.2 litre K series engine which will be re-engineered to increase its fuel efficiency. VVT technology might be incorporated to boost the strength of engine. Judging by the progress so far, it seems new Maruti Ritz will hit the roads pretty soon. However, the price of new Ritz is a delicate issue. It is contemplated to be set in order to increase Maruti’s market share while avoiding competition with its own vehicles like Swift. Indian car market today is a constant challenge in which Maruti Suzuki India is prepared for a fierce battle.
